Since my childhood, I loved exploring new places, and visiting historical places is my favourite hobby on vacation. Last month I was also enjoying, my holiday like all the other students suddenly an idea hit my mind that during the holiday I should also visit any historical place. As I love visiting almost I have visited most of the places in England, this time I was planning to visit a new place. I was searching where should I visit now, I got to know that still, I have not visited the Newcastle Castle. So I plan to visit there this time. One of my friends with whom I shared that I'm going there suggested to me that I should book a cab from company, I booked the cab and reached the stop in prescribe time I want to share my journey experience with everyone.

Built on the site of the fortress that gave the City of Newcastle its name, The Castle, Newcastle, or Newcastle Castle is a mediaeval fortification in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Robert Curthose, the eldest son of William the Conqueror, erected a wooden castle in the motte and bailey style in 1080. The Newcastle town wall, whose construction began around 1265, was not included in the construction of the Castle Keep and Black Gate. The keep's location is in Newcastle's city centre, to the east of Newcastle Station. The railroad viaduct that carries the East Coast Main Line from Newcastle to Scotland almost entirely fills the 75-foot (23 m) gap between the keep and the gatehouse. Keep and Black Gate are now managed as a single visitor attraction called "Newcastle Castle" by the Old Newcastle Project under the Heart of the City Partnership.
